Designing a flyer for the non-profit organization Leo Club Pannonia's event, "Yoga am See" (Yoga at the Lakeside), was an opportunity to capture the essence of lakeside yoga while conveying the spirit of summer and community giving.
The theme of the flyer revolved around transporting the audience to the tranquil scenery of a lakeside sunset. To achieve this, I selected for a color palette inspired by the hues of the lake and the sun: bright blue representing the calm waters, orange-yellow reminiscent of a warm summer sunset, and a warm beige to complement and ground the design.
Ensuring readability was important, given the importance of communicating the event's altruistic purpose. I chose a clear and legible font that would instantly convey the message to potential participants, inviting them to join in for a good cause.
To underscore the value of attending the event, I highlighted three key advantages: the presence of a professional yoga teacher to lead the session, the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the sunset with friends, and the inclusivity of the event, welcoming both beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Central to the flyer was the message that all donations collected during the event would directly benefit families in need. Drawing attention to this crucial detail emphasized the significance of attendees' contributions in supporting the community and amplifying the event's impact.
Ultimately, the flyer served as both an invitation to experience the serenity of lakeside yoga and a call to action for participants to contribute to a worthy cause, embodying the spirit of giving and community that defines the Leo Club Pannonia's mission.
In addition, since the flyer was exclusively intended for social media, I ensured its compatibility across various platforms by creating versions in 4:5 and 9:19 aspect ratios, as well as a Facebook banner.
